PT Cruiser's standard 2.4-liter 16-valve DOHC four-cylinder engine offers an impressive 29 mpg on the highway while producing 150 hp and 165 lb-ft. of torque. It is mated to a standard five-speed manual transaxle and is standard on the Base PT Cruiser, Limited edition, and Touring edition.

PT Cruiser's innovative retro-inspired interior design features a standard satin silver instrument panel.

Leather steering wheel with bright spokes, bright pedals, and sport leather-trimmed bucket seats come standard on the GT. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, YES Essentials stain and odor resistant seat fabric come standard on the Limited. A 6-way power driver's seat is standard on the Limited and GT. Manually adjustable seats and cloth low-back bucket seats are standard on the Touring.
